The academic session of the TDC/HS usually begins from 1st August. But this year classes will start from 15th June/2015. Application for admission to HS 1st year and TDC 1st semester in Arts and Science Courses are invited after announcement of 10th and 12th standard results of SEBA and AHSEC/CBSC.
HOW TO OBTAIN FROMS:
Prospectus along with Admission Application From can be obtained from the College Office on payment of Rs. 200/- & website. Date of issue of the same will notified by the college in the leading Newspapers, College Notice Board and website.
SUBMISSION OF FORM:
•Forms & Prospectus will be made available in the College website & in the College office hours on payment of Rs.200/- at the cash counter or D.D of the equivalent amount.
•Downloaded from duly filled in should be submitted at the receipt counter on or before the last date of submission along with a cash or D.D. of Rs. 200/- payable at jonai, drawn in favor of Principal Jonai Science College or cash payment in the fees counter.
•No application form downloaded from the website will be accepted without the D/D or payment receipt.
•Application form filled in all respects will only be accepted during the stipulated time.
•Documents need to be submitted along with the application format.

•Original documents to be produced at the time of admission.
•Irregular candidates seeking admission must submit an affidavit or gap certificate copy from gazette officer along with the application from for the gap period.
•Major forms will be filled up by the candidate at the time of admission. Major admission will be take place before commencement of the classes through written test.
•Hostel forms will be filled up by the candidate at the time of admission.
•ID card form will be filled up by the candidate at the time of admission.
•Admission into H.S 1st year Arts and Science takes place in the month of May/June immediately after the announcement of results of 10th examination by SEBA/CBSE.
•TDC 1st semester Arts and Science admission starts after the announcement of 12th level examination by AHSEC/CBSE.
•The Admission process is completed within the stipulated time by different Admission committees as per college Notification.
•Admission into the college is made strictly in order of merit and is governed by the college admission rules. The chairman’s decision regarding admission is final.
• There is a provision for reservation of seats for students belonging to SC, ST (P), ST(H), OBC/MOBC, Tea Garden students and physically handicapped categories as per govt. rules Such candidates must attach valid certificates issued by the competent authority for verification during admission
All admission to the different courses shall be strictly on the basis of merit and is subject to AHSEC and Dibrugarh University regulations.
Minimum percentage of marks required for admission in H.S 1st year Science and Arts’.
H.S 1st year - 50% H.S 1st year - 45%
B.Sc. 1st Semester - 50% B.A. 1st Semester - 45%

1.The selection of candidate for admission is made strictly on the basis of merit.
2.The admission committee prepares a list of eligible candidates after scrutiny of admission forms along with a waiting list of candidates for admission which is notified simultaneously with the list of selected candidates.
3.Date and time of admission is notified and accordingly admission takes place on the specified date and time.
4.If a candidate fails to get himself/herself admitted on the due date & time of admission his/ her candidature is automatically cancelled. No request for admission will be entertained of selected candidates not seeking admission on the date of admission. Immediately subject to the availability of vacant seats candidates are drawn from the waiting list.
5.Selected candidates must have to produce their original documents i.e., Pass certificate. Admit Cards, Mark Sheet, and Cast Certificate etc. at the time of admission.
6.In preparing the list of selected candidate Govt. reservation rules and strictly followed.
7.If the candidate fails to submit the receipt within two working days including the day of admission his/her admission will be cancelled.
The college admission fees, monthly fees and laboratory fees (For science student only) must be paid by the students’ with proper college receipt as fixed by the college Government body.
